Welcome to my "About me" site. Here you can learn a bit about me and find a few details.
I was born in Denmark in the city of Nykøbing on the island of Falster - surrounded by water, nature and a lot of good friends. It spent ten years at the local public school Sundskolen, then 3 years at commercial school in Nykøbing followed by 2 years Computer Science at the IT school in Nykøbing. The following 4 years I studied Computer Science (Datanom) at the school Niels Broch in Copenhagen during the evenings in parallel with my work.
I have always liked sports. Football, Handball, Badminton, Karate, Fitness training and spent hours and hours on streets and in the woods running.
After a marathon in 2003 I had to undergo some knee surgery and today I only run if I have to. I still try to do as much sport as work and energy allows me but it is often limited to a couple of hours at the gym.
Apart from finding a great pleassure in diving and sailing - which you can read about elsewhere on my site - I enjoy reading books and spending time with my kids and friends. The last part is a bit restricted at the moment since I live 8-9000 kilometers away from them but one day....
I don't drink much alcohol but do like a glass of good redwine during a meal or when relaxing in the evening. Candy, chips and cakes are not my favorites but a piece of dark chokolate or a bowl of good chokolate icecream are nice exceptions.
The great love of my life is my 3 daughters: Clara, Emma and Laura
